Privacy Policy

Last updated: 5 June 2026

This policy explains how Perfect Pedigrees (“we”, “us”) collects and uses your personal data when you use this website and join our early-access waitlist. We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

Perfect Pedigrees is a product operated by Ross Davies, trading as Cats Whiskers Web Designs, based in the United Kingdom. For any privacy question or request, contact us at ross@cwwd.co.uk. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

What data we collect

  • Waitlist sign-ups. When you join our early list we collect your first name and email address, and a record of your consent.
  • Anti-spam & security data. To protect the sign-up form we use Google reCAPTCHA, which may collect device and usage information. Our hosting also keeps standard server logs (e.g. IP address, browser type) for security and diagnostics.

How we use your data, and our lawful basis

We use your name and email only to send you launch news and occasional updates about Perfect Pedigrees that you have asked for. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box and submitting the form. You can withdraw it at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers that operate our waitlist and site:

  • SendFox — our email list provider, which stores your name and email and sends our messages.
  • Google reCAPTCHA — used to block spam submissions on our form, subject to Google’s privacy policy.
  • Our web host — which stores the website and its server logs.

How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, or until the waitlist is no longer needed (for example, a reasonable period after launch). Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these, email ross@cwwd.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

This site uses only essential cookies needed to function, plus those set by Google reCAPTCHA on the sign-up form. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
