Branding your certificate: logo, photo & style
Your certificate should look like it came from your cattery. Adding your logo, a photo and your choice of style takes just a couple of minutes — and the result is something you’ll be proud to hand over.
Upload your cattery logo
Your logo is what makes a certificate unmistakably yours. To add it, open the branding step and upload your logo file — a PNG or JPG works well, and a clear image with a transparent or plain background looks best. Once it’s in, it sits neatly on the certificate, and we remember it for next time, so you only need to do this once.
- Click to upload your logo from your computer or phone.
- Check it looks right in the live preview.
- It’s saved to your account and used automatically on future certificates.
No logo? We’ll design one for you
Don’t have a logo yet? That’s no problem at all. We can design a smart, simple cattery logo for you for a small one-off fee — you can read about it on our logo design page. Once it’s ready, it slots straight into your certificates just like any other logo.
Add a photo of the cat or kitten
A photo turns a document into a keepsake. You can add a picture of the individual cat or kitten the certificate is for — the same way you uploaded your logo. New owners love seeing their kitten’s face on its pedigree, and it makes each certificate feel personal rather than generic.
Choose a style: white or cream
Next, pick the look that suits you. Our library of certificate styles comes in a choice of white or cream, so you can match your cattery’s feel — crisp and modern, or warm and traditional. The live preview updates as you choose, so you can see exactly what you’re getting before you print.
A couple of nice touches happen automatically: titled and champion names appear in red, just as they would on a formal pedigree, and colours are labelled with the correct code for you. You don’t have to remember to do either — we handle it.
The scan-to-verify QR code
Every certificate carries a discreet scan-to-verify QR code. A new owner can scan it with their phone to confirm the certificate is genuine and came from you — a quiet bit of reassurance that adds real polish to your cattery’s presentation. There’s nothing for you to set up; it’s included on every certificate as standard. You can see more examples on our certificates page.
That’s the whole branding step. Logo, photo, style — three quick choices, and your certificate is ready to print. If you’d like to try it for yourself, you can request early access and start building today.
