Built by a GCCF judge, for breeders
Perfect Pedigrees comes from inside the cat fancy — not a software company. I’m Ross Davies: a GCCF judge and breeder who got tired of clunky, desktop-only tools that tied my records to one machine and never quite got the registry detail right. So I built the thing I wished existed.
Why I built it
Breeders Assistant and Kintraks served the community for years, but they’re Windows-era desktop apps — tied to one computer, fiddly to share, and no longer keeping pace. I wanted pedigrees and records that live in the cloud, work on any device, and render correctly for GCCF and TICA straight out of the box. And I wanted it to be genuinely easy: if you can use Facebook, you can use Perfect Pedigrees.
A database checked by an expert — not just collected
Perfect Pedigrees is built on a curated pool of around 90,000 cats and growing. The difference is who checks it. As a GCCF judge I review what goes into the shared pool — so breed numbers, EMS colour codes, titles and registry conventions follow the real rules. Rival pools are often a free-for-all of unchecked, duplicated, error-ridden imports. Ours is human-curated and expert-verified, so the ancestry you build on is one you can actually trust.
