Getting started with Perfect Pedigrees
Creating your account takes a couple of minutes, and there’s nothing to install. If you can use Facebook, you can do this — and if you get stuck at any point, we’re a message away.
Create your account
- Go to the sign-up page and enter your name, email address and a password.
- We’ll send a quick confirmation email — click the link in it to verify your address.
- That’s it. You’re in, and building a pedigree is free — you only pay when you choose to print.
Signing in — the easy way
You can sign in with your email and password as usual. But if remembering passwords isn’t your thing, use the magic link instead: type in your email, and we’ll send you a one-click sign-in link. No password to remember — just open the email and you’re in.
Your dashboard
Once you’re signed in, your dashboard is your home base. From here you can add cats, build and print pedigrees, check a pairing, and manage your cattery details and logo. Everything you create is saved automatically, so you can come back any time and pick up where you left off.
Your own private database — plugged into a bigger pool
Every cat and pedigree you create lives in your own private database, saved for next time so reorders take minutes. Behind the scenes, your records can also link to Perfect Pedigrees’ growing shared pool of around 90,000 cats — so as you build, known ancestry is pulled in for you and your pedigrees get deeper over time, without extra work.
Your private records stay yours. They only ever link to the shared pool — nothing of yours is copied into it unless it passes through our human review first, and breeder or owner contact details are never shared. The shared pool is about cats: names, colours and breed numbers. The site is built to be UK GDPR-compliant, and you decide exactly what appears on each certificate.
Works on any device
Perfect Pedigrees runs in any web browser — phone, tablet or computer — with nothing to download. You can even add it to your phone’s home screen and use it at a show.
